VAP Program Manager

ModSpace seeks a Value-added Products Manager to partner with sales and operations to drive product penetration, revenues and operational efficiencies in our district organizations. 


This multi-talented professional will increase district operating margins and portfolio ROI by:  

  • Identifying viable and profitable regional-specific offerings
  • Developing sourcing, fulfillment and go-to-market plans internally and externally all the way to billing and customer support
  • Working with marketing and sales to establish a successful market positioning and value-proposition
  • Engaging key stake holders internally in launch and training programs to ensure success

This is a fast-paced, results-driven hands-on role requiring a balance of strategy and execution.


Day to day responsibilities may include:  

  • Market research and analysis to identify local/regional opportunities and customer needs in VAP offerings and product bundles
  • Developing an implementation plan for offerings including:
    • Pricing, go-to-market and rollout strategy
    • marketing collateral
    • training materials
    • identifying/engaging local vendor network.
  • Coaching and training branch teams in VAP offerings, consultative sales and operations techniques
  • Providing tools, training and incentive programs to engage the sales team and augment the selling process
  • Working with assigned national vendors to deliver the best value, quality and customer service in products, fulfillment process, billing and reconciliation
  • Identifying vendor coverage gaps, qualifying and establishing new vendors
  • Measuring performance and progress to objectives, VAP P&L results, and dashboard reporting of key performance metrics

 Successful candidates should have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, operations, marketing, product development or management
  • Experience managing product, program or project lifecycle from concept to maturity/reinvention
  • The ability to engage and collaborate effectively at multiple levels of an organization
  • Strong planning, organization and project management skills
  • Excellent analytical capabilities to measure, manage and refine programs, pricing, logistics based on information, data and analytics
  • The ability to travel as required, for regional / district meetings and VAP management activities
