ModSpace seeks an experienced sales or operations professional to support the southeast and south central districts as an Asset Manager. Orlando is our preferred location, but other South-east or South-central ModSpace locations may be considered.


Asset Managers work closely to support the Sales and Operations teams in strategy for rebalancing, standardizing and modernizing the ModSpace building portfolio to drive asset value and ROI.


Day to day activities may include:

  • identifying & selecting assets, managing the redeployment budget & ensuring Operations executes the movement of assets according to plan
  • identifying assets and managing costs to repair, refurbish and reconfigure assets via 3rd party manufacturers and in-house vendors to develop an annual Refurbishment Plan
  • Ensuring all certification requirements of refurbished assets
  • Confirming internal accounting treatment of capitalized costs
  • Developing and maintaining asset specifications and adherence to manage quality of remanufactured assets
  • Strategically managing all service center asset plans
  • Managing the inventory levels of the region and identifying assets for activation and sale execution
  • Managing sales of idle inventory within the District by coordinating with Sales team
  • Identifying alternate market channels for localized sales efforts of idel inventory
  • Promoting  use  of  web  based  systems  for  Remarketing
  • Implementing & stewarding Asset Management strategies
  • Conducting Operations & Sales training for Redeployment & Remanufacturing Plans
  • Creating, identifying and communicating best practices to other Districts

The District Asset Manager must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree
    • or 5 years experience at ModSpace in a sales or operations role
  • 5 years of work experience in a business to business product oriented environment
  • Strong ability to influence others and work cross-functionally at multiple levels, including as a trainer
  • Good mathematical/analytical skills and a solid understanding of ROI in equipment refurbishment and sale
  • Strong presentation skills including use of technology and social media as sales tools
  • The ability to effectively translate and manage a strategic plan into daily execution items

All ModSpace team members must have: 

  • PC Proficiency in a Windows environment with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
