ModSpace is seeking to add an EPA-certified HVAC Customer Service Advisor to join our busy team at our North American headquarters in Berwyn, PA.


With a North American footprint, this is a full-time, year-round position Monday through Friday.


The HVAC Service Advisor joins our team to provide technical expertise for inbound HVAC-service related calls and will help ensure a quick response to the customer in the most cost effective manner.


Day to day activities may include:

  • Conducting calls/gathering information from customers regarding HVAC service issues

  • Analyzing inbound HVAC calls to determine need for service case

  • Selecting Vendor and Issuing a Purchase Order

  • Analyzing ModSpace HVAC spend and provide cost saving solutions

  • Negotiating cost reductions with vendors/suppliers

  • Ensuring work was completed satisfactorily

  • Adding repairs to the building record in operating systems

  • Assist Service Dispatchers in interpreting and dispatching HVAC service related calls

  • Providing training and guidance to other dispatchers regarding HVAC service calls as needed

  • Act as back up to Service Dispatchers in all areas of Service Calls, when necessary

  • Other Special Projects as required

The HVAC Customer Service Dispatcher must have:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent related experience
  • A valid current Universal EPA Certification
  • A Minimum of 2 years hands-on HVAC repair and diagnosis experience
    • Knowledge of HVAC wall-mount units
    • Knowledge of Split Systems (Heater inside/Condenser Coils outside)
    • Successful troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE regulations
  • High degree of professionalism
  • A focus on Customer Service
  • The ability to perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail
  • Keen listening skills and ability to persuade others
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment or as an individual contributor

  • PC Proficiency in a Windows environment with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
