ModSpace seeks a highly collaborative Manager of Sales Development to join the Sales Operations team in our Berwyn, PA North American headquarters.

This position requires a strong developmental focus, leadership skills, and a creative partnering approach to:

  • continuously promote growth/development of sales skills for inside, outside sales and account management from onboarding to senior sales professional and sales management
  • promote effective employee/manager engagement
  • ultimately drive EBITDA and employee retention

This role reports into the Sales Operations Director and partners closely with sales and sales management to develop requirements and implement training and development strategies, programs, and processes. (Whether through internal resources or external providers)

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments with sales contributors and leaders to identify current and anticipated training and development needs
  • Working closely with sales leadership and sales operations to develop and implement an integrated continuous development plan for the sales function aligned with strategic objectives of the business
  • Sourcing, researching and securing external providers as needed for training and development programs and objectives. Working with providers to ensure content is ModSpace relevant
  • Following up on completed trainings to evaluate and measure results against objectives
  • Communicating development efforts and ROI to leadership and the sales organization to drive employee engagement
  • Championing a development culture in the sales function by identifying milestones and resulting sales accomplishments
  • Managing logistics for development or training programs
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of eLearning content; driving adoption of LMS as a tool.
  • Supporting the development, updating of sales training materials
  • Ensuring new processes and products are incorporated into sales training material real time
  • Coordinating scheduling, communication and execution of special projects as needed, such as the organization of sales-wide training events

We're Requiring: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 years’ successful outside sales experience in a dynamic, cross-functional sales process
  • Familiarity and understanding of enterprise selling methodologies, their benefits and how to implement them effectively
  • Ability to present to varied levels regularly, interacting with, and influencing senior leadership
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a decentralized population
  • The ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, agile and matrixed environment
  • Superior communication and influence skills, critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated people motivation and development skills
  • The ability to travel up to 25% nationally

Experience in organizational consulting, training coordination or professional skills coaching highly desired.
